International Fair Of Tourism Services To Take Place In Minsk On 4-7 April

The international fair of tourism services Leisure 2018 will take place in Minsk on 4-7 April.

All tourism trends of this year at one place!

The fair will focus on travels and excursions, medical tourism and transport services, sports equipment and insurance in tourism.

The participants will also  touch on services of health resorts, recreation centers, tourist clubs, hotels, and various tourist accessories

The number of participants increases every year. This year it is expected to gather over 150 companies from 16 countries.

Tourism representatives from Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Poland Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Egypt, Cuba, Portugal, Serbia, Turkey, and Czechia will come to Belarus.

Various presentations, roundtable discussions, seminars on the top problems of the travel industry and their solutions will be held as part of the fair.

The fair is a good platform for travel business professionals to meet, exchange opinions and discuss the strategy to promote the country’s tourism image.

Where did Belarusians travel last year?

According to the latest statistics,  727,500 Belarusians travelled abroad as tourists in 2017.

This is up by 47% in comparison to 2016. Of them 19% went to the CIS states, 35.5% to the European Union, and 45.5% to other countries.

The most popular tourist destinations were Turkey, Egypt, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland, Spain, Greece, Montenegro, Czechia, Lithuania, and Italy.

The number of tourist arrivals reached 282,000 in 2017, up by 30% from 2016.

This year’s fair will take place at 14 Pobediteley Avenue.
