The first Days of National Cultures festival will take place in the Upper Town in Minsk on Saturday, 3 June. And it looks like it’s going to be really huge!
Sweden will be the first country to present its culture to Minskers and guests of the city, TUT.BY reports.
The Day of Swedish culture will start at 13:00 near the Town Hall.
You can listen Belarusian bands will be playing popular Swedish hits and folk music on the main stage till 18:00.
The concert will continue at 20:00 with the performace by the Belarusian participants of Eurovision 2017 Naviband and Secret Service, Swedish pop stars of the 80’s.
Besides the main stage, the festival will spread to five other locations: culture, education, sports, information stands and children’s playground.
All of them will be located in the Upper Town – near Monastyrskiy hotel, Renaissance restaurant and in the fountain courtyard in Muzyčny zavulak.
There will be something for car fans, too. Volvo and Scania will showcase the latest models of their trucks – a nice location for some cools pics!
The rest of the territory near the Town Hall will be given to food courts, artisans and historical reconstructors, who will re-create the atmosphere of the Viking Age.
