15+ Street Life Photos That Prove Minsk Is Getting As Hip As Other European Cities

Is street life in Minsk more alive or dead? Well, while the latter was true some five years ago, the situation has certainly been changing!

Summer jazz and classic music festivals, open-air historic performances and dance parties in bar streets are growing in scale and popularity.

The most recent one – 7-hour music festival Karol Jan Open Air on Saturday – proved that even bad weather can not stop citizens from getting together and having fun.

Three big stages set by the ogranizes plus street musicians performing almost at every angle – crowds gathered everywhere on Zybickaya street!

In the evening the number of festival’s guests grew even bigger:

A few hundred people gathered in a cosy yard near BeerCap bar to listen to the performance of a popular band Akute.

Who knows if the Belarusian capital will soon rival other European capitals in the cooleness of its street life? ?
