Stadler and the Minsk Metro have presented its first train for the third line, which is now under construction, of the local metro.
Designed by Stadler Minsk the new train complies with all requirements in terms of safety, comfort, operation and maintenance.
It has a pass-through between the cars, zones for people with reduced mobility, air conditioning systems, and phone charging stations.
According to the contract, Stadler will supply six four-car and four five-car trains 2020 year end. New trains will be used on the operating and future metro lines with the prospect of gradual replacement of the current fleet.
