President Lukashenko To Continue His Foreign Tour With A Visit To Pakistan

After the trip to China, Alexander Lukashenko is departing to Pakistan. The official visit will take place on 4-6 October, the press service of the Belarusian leader told the media on Monday.

The program of the visit includes meetings with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain, as well as leaders of the Pakistan parliament.

The sides are expected to sign agreements about cooperation in various fields.

Alexander Lukashenko will take part in the opening of the 4th Belarus-Pakistan business and investment forum in Islamabad. Members of the Belarusian delegation will also hold a number of meetings with Pakistani partners.

The Belarusian head paid his last official visit to Pakistan in May 2015. In August 2015 the Prime Minister of Pakistan returned the visit. The two countries mutually inagurated the embassies in 2014-15.
