Kaleria Stefanenko, who was expecting a child at that time, with severe injuries was taken to the emergency hospital. There she went into a coma for two months.
Doctors managed to save the life woman, her 18-months-old son and her unborn child. A week ago the 26-years-old gave birth to a healthy baby girl weighing 3,200 grams.
The newborn was named Alice and her mother, according to doctors’ estimates, is making a full recovery.
The doctors say the case is unique since there’s half a percent of pregnancies in the world that resulted in successful childbirth after a car accident.
Our son recovered 100%. Now I’m a happy father of two children. I am so grateful and happy that we have such professionals, said Kaleria’s husband Yevgeny.
