Looks like mother nature can use a new calendar as snow left Belarus looking like a winter wonderland – in mid-May.
Just yesterday, Belarusians wore shorts and T-shirts, leaving their warm jackets at home, and today it is better not to go outside without a down jacket and an umbrella.
In the morning of 12 May, Grodno residents started to make snowmen, while there was a downpour with a thunderstorm in Minsk, and at noon, the snow reached finally reached Belarus’ capital.
Although weather forecasters assure that such temperature spikes from + 22 °C to + 1° C are usual, the frowning faces of passers-by said the opposite. Check them out!
