Today is the 150th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov: known universally as Lenin. Ignoring the coronavirus pandemic the most diehard Communists gathered at Plošča Niezaliežnasci to celebrate the anniversary.
About three dozen people with red flags in their hands gathered at the square in the centre of Belarus’s capital, laid flowers, took photos at the monument to the leader of the proletariat, talked a little and dispersed after 15 minutes. See how the event went in the TUT.BY photo story.
