Myths Alive! New Tourist Attraction Appears In Berezinsky National Park

Fans of history and nature, attention! There’s a new attraction in Berezinsly biosphere reserve that perfectly combines both.

The centre of mythological tourism opened last week.

It combines a museum of mythological creatures, an open-air exhibition and an eco path.

The museum tells about Belarusian mythology and about the deities and spirits, which, according to ancient beliefs, lived in Belarusian forests, logs, lakes and fields.

The eco path is aligned with 17 magic installations – sculptures of mythical creatures.

The best – and most thrilling part – is a guided night excursion along the route.

The organizers promise a lot of emotion as the excursion involves action, for example, a forest spirit may grab you by the leg!

“The centre is a unique experience for Belarus. We hope it will attract new tourists to the reserve, especially foreign tourists,” representatives of UNDP in Belarus, one of the creators of the museum, said.

More details on how to visit the museum will soon appear on the park’s website.
