If you like eating out in hip places but wouldn’t like to spend fortune on it, here’s a good opportunity: food festival from 15 best bars and restaurants of Minsk is underway right now.
Food festival is taking place for one month – from 15 October to 15 November. 15 chefs have prepared sets of specialties for the event. The best thing is the price – the sets are offered at a fixed price of 24 Belarusian rubles, or $12.
For example, in Yard cafe you will be served a juicy steak with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables, supplemented by two kinds of bruschetta. A Thai salad with beef, roasted peppers and oranges comes as a snack in the set.
Wine bar Vinnyi Shkaf is treating its guests on a large set of snacks including baked oyster, mussels with tacos sauce, crab, octopus tentacles on a green couscous, roasted pumpkin and peach with goat cheese mousse, caramel popcorn with salt on a bed of fruit Caponata under halva mousse.
In Enzo cafe one can enjoy warm salad with turkey and cherry tomatoes followed by a beef burger with cheddar sauce, red onion, romaine lettuce, tomato, and pickled cucumber.
A set of coloured burgers will be prepared for guests at Malt & Hops – a Black Burger with beef and blue cheese sauce and a Pink Burger with grilled zucchini, artichokes and soft cheese. The set is complemented with beef tartar, puff pasty sticks with bacon and one of bar’s special drinks.
Those who prefer vegetarian food are welcome to Schast’ye zdes‘. The only vegetarian cafe in Minsk offers a set that includes baked vegetables with wine, raw sushi nori and guacamole sauce, tofu with black rice and spinach and a ginger drink.
