Christmas is almost here, and all across the country houses, streets and squares are being transformed with twinkling lights to add some winter cheer.
A new design and over a hundred kilometres of cables! An open book, harp and clown were joined by snowmen, funny piglets, Christmas trees, hockey sticks and many others this year.
As darkness falls they’ll come alive with thousands of sparkling lights, which are sure to put you in a festive mood. Back in January, journalists estimated that the city spent more than a million dollars on 13 such figures.
