Since time immemorial the Belarusians fought to defend their land against enemies from the East and the West. Today medieval festivals give one a chance to go back in in the days of brave knights, sophisticated ladies and powerful kings.
Myazha is a mini-festival that took place in Grodno last weekend. A medieval experience has been re-created with a great love of detail to give visitors a glance into the lives of their ancestors.
For a day the Kalozhsky Park grounds were transformed by the hustle and bustle of knights in shining armour, musicians, merchants, noblemen, archers and fire artists. It was terrific, take a look!
