Exports of the High-Tech Park for 2018 grew by 38% compared to $ 1.414 billion in 2017. According to forecasts of the world-famous auditors, the park was supposed to reach these indicators only in 2020.

The main consumers of HTP products are the EU countries and the USA (over 90%).
91.9% of the software produced in the Park account for exports. 49.1% account for the European countries, 44% – for the USA and Canada, 4,1% – for Russia and CIS countries.

“The growth of HTP in exports has exceeded all our expectations. We sharply exceeded the projections of the leading agencies. This is a direct consequence and obvious success of the decree, which was adopted by the head of the state.
This is not only the success of the High-Tech Park, but also the success of the country. Today Belarus is turning into one of the very powerful IT clusters of the entire Eastern European region,” said Vsevolod Yanchevsky, the director of the High-Tech Park.
Taxes, wages and jobs
The total production of HTP amounted to 3,202 billion rubles, which is 47% more than in 2017. In the domestic market, the HTP residents have developed and implemented IT solutions worth 297 million rubles, which is 59% more than in 2017.
The average salary of an IT specialist last month was 4,487 Belarusian rubles. The average programmer pays 3.2 times more income tax than the average Belarusian. At the same time, their contribution to the Social Security Fund is the same.

After the president signed the decree “On the Development of the Digital Economy”, 267 companies entered the HTP, that is, in 2018 more than in the entire 12-year history of the Park.
At the same time, the work of old companies, which over the last year created 5,000 new jobs, has intensified. In general, together with new companies, the park has grown by 13,000 workers.
As of the end of last year, 45.7 thousand people worked for the HTP residents.
