For The 1st Time! World Helicopter Championship To Take Place In Minsk

The FAI World Helicopter Championship 2018 to be hosted by Belarus for the first time this summer.

Summer 2018 is gonna be hot!

The spectacular competition will take place at Baravaya airfield in Minsk on 23-29 July.

About 45 crews and 100 aviators from five countries will compete for medals in seven disciplines.

Helicopter pilots will show their skills in slalom, cargo transportation, navigation, precision flight, team relay race and other.

The Belarusian team are among the favourites. The sportsmen won silver at the latest World Championship in Poland.

Sky is the limit! Aviation festival ‪#proheaven‬ starts in Minsk

In addition to the world championship, an annual Aviation Festival #ProNebo will be held in Minsk on July 28-29.

Recall that the Belarusians had a chance to enjoy the world helicopter championship show forty years ago in Vitebsk.

The information was made public by the Belarusian Federation of Aviation Sports that arranges the competition.

What is even more pleasant about the event is that the entrance is free!
