14 Free Wi-Fi Hotspots To Appear In Minsk Center

Free public Wi-Fi hotspots will soon appear in Minsk center, look for them at Plošča Svabody, Palac Sporta and 12 metro stations.

According to the provider, the users will be able to connect 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. The latter will ‘significantly increase the level of service’ and provide more stable connections.


At present free Wi-Fi Minsk network is available at Kastryčnickaja and Kupalaŭskaja metro stations. More hotspots are expected to appear at Piatroŭščhyna, Plošča Lienina, Uručča, Aŭtazavodskaja, Pieršamajskaja, and Niamiha till June this year.

Plošča Jakuba Kolasa, Akademija Navuk, Kamiennaja Horka Mahilioŭskaja stations. The number of public Wi-Fi spots in Minsk is growing steadily, this year 115 hotspots popped up around the city.

Public Internet points are located in shopping centers, cafes, petrol stations, banks around the capital. The map also features Free Wi-Fi BY points in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Mogilev, and Molodechno, and those planned for future launch.

Recall that passengers of №1, 100 and 300e bus routes, as well as those riding Minsk and Vilnius trains, can enjoy free internet access too.
