Firefighters from across Belarus took to Minsk to celebrate 165 years of the Belarusian fire emergency service last weekend.

Excitement levels were high as the parade made its way to praspiekt Niezaliežnasci on Saturday afternoon.

The procession featured the guards of honor of the University of Civil Protection, wind bands, firefighter veterans and young rescuers.
Historic vehicles, modern heavy truck cranes, self-propelled bridge-building and crossing means, the pontoon park equipment also took part in the mass event.
Besides, Minskers were impressed to watch water show on Svislach river and helicopters air show prepared by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
