COVID-19 In Belarus: 250 Newly Infected And Six Deaths Per Day

As of 6 July, 63,804 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Belarus. The daily increase of new infections is 250 cases, the Healthcare Ministry reports.

51,120 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals (+249 in the 24 hours). 429 coronavirus patients (+6 in the 24 hours) have died. Belarus has conducted 1,074,240 tests since the outbreak. Last week hospitals redesigned to treat patients with COVID-19 returned to normal mode.

Earlier Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko explained that doctors are currently monitoring patients with pneumonia since tests can be not informative enough for COVID-19 diagnostics. He noted that there are currently 1,100 patients with heavy form of disease.
