If you’re looking for a cheap accomodation in Belarus, head north-east, according to the latest ranking of travel search engine Aviasales.
Aviasales team calculated the average room prices of the three-star hotels around the country and came up with the following ranking.
According to their data, Vitebsk and Mogilev hotels offer the cheapest rooms with the prices starting from 43 BYN (~$21) per person per night. Don’t forget to add Brest to your intinerary, the city is ranked second, a day in a budget hotel there starts from 49 BYN ($24).
“One can also stay in Gomel and Bobruisk for an average of 55 BYN (~$27). It is noteworthy that the most affordable accommodation facilities are within walking distance from the city center,” experts note.
Travelers planning to visit Minsk should be prepared to pay at least 63 BYN (~$31). At the same time, cheap hotels in the capital are located within the main attractions.
“A trip to Baranovichy will be a little more expensive – prices start from 72 BYN (~$36) per night in a hotel near a historic city center and railway station. The top low-cost hotels of Grodno round up the list with the prices starting, on average, from 85 BYN (~$42).”
