Billionaire With Belarusian Roots Will Run For The U.S. President In 2020

The former New York City mayor and billionaire Michael Bloomberg, who has Belarusian roots, announced that he will join the 2020 presidential race in the U.S.

It means that the descendent of grandparents who emigrated from Belarus and Lithuania has all the chances to become the next president of the United States of America. Can you believe that?

“I’m running for president to defeat Donald Trump and rebuild America,” Michael Bloomberg’s Twitter statement said.

He along 17 other candidates will be standing to be the Democratic Party presidential nominee. Bloomberg is the eighth richest American with a net worth of $54.4bn, according to Forbes.
