Tatsiana Zaretskaya from Belarus got in 2020 edition of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list Europe of the top young entrepreneurs.
Zaretskaya is cofounder and CEO of Laava Tech with offices in the U.S., Estonia and Poland. The company develops technology to help indoor farmers decrease lighting energy consumption and increase crop yields.
The technology combines LED lights with machine learning, AI, and IoT to produce optimized growing conditions for different crops. Laava Tech CEO Tatsiana Zaretskaya is a serial entrepreneur with a background in law and marketing.
Having sold her first business at the age of 20, Tatsiana moved from her native Belarus to Estonia to further her education. She is now 26 years old.
She has been granted an award for outstanding academic performances by the President of Belarus, as well as being an OSCE and UPEACE scholar. Before launching Laava Tech, Tatsiana worked as a Law Associate in an ICT law firm.
Tatsiana is not the first time Belarusian who got in the prestigious list. Earlier Marya Dzmitruk, a native of Belarus, got in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list of revolutionaries changing the course and the face of business and society.
In 2018, Anisia Kozliuk got in 30 Under 30 Europe list featuring 300 young disruptors of entertainment, finance and technology. Andrew Maximov, a native of Belarus, got in 2018 edition of the Forbes 30 Under 30 in the category of Games.
Earlier, Forbes named the cofounders of MSQRD Sergey Gonchar and Eugene Nevgen among 20 best business guys in the Consumer Technology category.
