Belarusian Creates Famous Movie Characters Of Potatoes, But Why?

“Mozzarella is the national brand of Italy, Spain is known for its Jamon, I want the potato to become a brand of Belarus,” says Valentin Boyko, who creates funny action figures.

Valentin, the teacher of the Belarusian language and literature by profession, admits that he never had creative skills. The man discovered his new hobby this spring when he felt emotionally burnt out and decided to keep his hands busy.

We believe you remember that Belarus’ potato gene bank was named the national asset of the country and is no longer surprised why Belarusians think digging potatoes is fun, throw parties dedicated to potato pancakes and eat them with ice-cream.

By the way, if you share our potato passion, hurry up to find out what kind of dranik or potato you are. Have fun!
