Belarus Will Host Over 70 International Sports Events in 2017

13_khokkey_belarus_shveciya_zam_tutby_phslBelarus will host more than 70 international sports events in 2017, the press service of the Belarusian government reported.

The sports year will start with the 13th Christmas International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament on 1-9 January.

On 10-12 February Belarus will be hosting the ISU World Cup Short Track Speed Skating.

In May the country will welcome the International Road Race Grand Prix Minsk 2017 and the European Sambo Championship. Belarus will also host the European Judo Open M&W on 10-11 June and the IPF World Open, Sub-Junior, Junior & Master Classic Powerlifting Championships on 14-25 June.

The FIG Trampoline World Cup is scheduled for 16-20 August.

Belarus will also host a number of events preceding the Second European Games 2019, including visits by representatives of international sports organizations, heads of sports federations fromĀ  different countries.

In total over 70 international sports events will be held in Belarus next year.
