Belarus will be the host country for the European Figure Skating Championships in 2019.
The information was confirmed by the Head of the Skating Union of Belarus Alexei Hatylev, BelTA reports.
Best figure skaters of the Old World will be competing for the titles from 21 to 27 January 2019. It is planned that Minsk-Arena will be the venue for the championship.
Minsk rivaled Zagreb, Graz, Kiev and Tallinn in the competition for the host city.
The European Figure Skating Championships 2017 will be held in the Czech city of Ostrava, while the continental tournament of 2018 will take place in Moscow in Russia.
