Starting from 1 July, foreigners planning to come to Belarus can find out online whether they are allowed to enter the country, the State Border Committee reports.
A foreigner or his representative can get this information free of charge on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
To do this, in the “Services – Online Services” section, select the “Check the ban on entry to the Republic of Belarus” tab and fill in all the fields of the form.
Provided that all the details of the first and last name in Russian or English (Latin transliteration) match, the applicant will see an email message on the website page.
Last year, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Podgursky said that the list of foreigners banned from entering Belarus “included 1 million 142 thousand persons”.
