The embassy of Belarus in Germany is checking on Belarusian citizens among the victims of the terrorist attack in Berlin on Monday night, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

A hijacked 25-tonne lorry drove into a crowd murdering 12 people and injuring 48 more at a Berlin Christmas market, the media reported. The police say that the number of victims may rise as some of the injured are in serious condition. There are tourists among the victims.
