Belarusian Wins 3 Gold Medals At Armwrestling Cup For Disabled

Viktor Bratchenya has claimed three gold medals at the Armwrestling World Cup for Disablheld in Rumia, Poland on 19-22 November.

Impossible is possible!

A 14-time world champion and a many-time winner in Europe grabbed his first gold medal with both his hands in the 80kg weight category.

The athlete has also become the right hand champion in the absolute weight category, conquering the rival from Slovakia.

Besides, Viktor snatched a silver with left hand in the encounter with an athlete from Russia.

The atheltes from all over the wolrd competed in standing and seated positions, in categories: deaf, blind and movement-impaired.

The contest got together disabled armwrestlers from 16 countries and gave them the chance to prove their enormous will to win.

Recall that Bratchenya started doing armwrestling at the age of 15 and won his first award at 16 during the Cup of Belarus.

In 2013 President Alexander Lukashenko awarded the sportsman with the title of “Distinguished Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus”.
