Starting Friday, 7 April, it will no longer be possible to travel between Minsk National Airport and the capital by train.
Trains will be stopped due to the works on the construction of the second runway. The measure is a temporary one.
The information service of the Belarusian railways did not say how long the construction would last.
“On Friday, works will start in this part of the road,” they said. “Therefore, all trains on the route are cancelled”.
The info service person added that no time limits of repair works had been set, so there was no information about when the train traffic would resume.
Passengers are advised to use buses or shuttle buses to get to the aiport.
