The passenger arrived in Minsk from Domodedovo in Moscow on 16 September.

Last year the airport welcomed the three-millionth passenger on 10 November.

“This year the milestone happened a few months earlier, which indicates a stable growth in passenger traffic,” the press service said.

In April Minsk airport celebrated its 2017 millionth passenger and later reported almost 30% increase in passenger traffic in H1.

At present the construction of the second runway is underway in the national airport. Autorities expect the second runway to be commissioned by 2019, and the airhub to receive four millions of passengers in 2020.
