As of 9 am on 20 March, 69 COVID-19 confirmed cases were reported in Belarus. Fifteen patients who fully recovered have been discharged from hospital.
42 patients who tested positive for the coronavirus are under medical surveillance. All of them show no symptoms of the disease.
12 patients currently display the symptoms of COVID-19. Over 19,000 people have undergone testing for COVID-19 since late January.
In total, as of 20 March ,69 cases of coronavirus were reported in the country. Three weeks have passed since the first patient was identified.
Two days ago the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Belarus were 51. Six patients who tested positive for the coronavirus were discharged from hospital.
Nine of them displayed symptoms of the COVID-19 infection, 37 patients were asymptomatic. No quarantine was introduced in educational institutions.
It was also decided to change transport timetables in order to separate the flows of students and workers. The president advised Belarusians to follow the example of Chinese and Italians on self-isolation.
