Technologies exhibition TIBO 2017 has officially opened in Minsk on Tuesday and most of it is about the Internet of Things (IoT).
The largest Belarusian IT and telecom exhibition, that is running from 18 to 21 April, gathered 100 companies from 18 countries, including the USA, Japan, South Korea and Germany.
Traditionally, Belarusian mobile providers are the biggest newsmakers of the forum. For example, velcom announced Wi-Fi calling, while MTS presented its platform for the Internet of Things and Navigator service designed for blind people. Life:) introduced a new tariff line that is unique for Belarus.
Life’s parent company Turkcell created a model of a “smart city” at its stand.
Another big stand belongs to beCloud, infrastructure operator, demonstrated 5G internet, that will supposedly become available to Belarusians by 2020.
TIBO exhibition has been hosted in Belarus since 1994. Today it is one of the largest and the most prestigious events in the technologies sphere.
Every year it draws Belarusian and foreign manufacturers of telecommunication equipment, computers, software, applications and security systems.
At the TIBO you will have the opportunity not only to watch, but also to try to use the novelties in high technologies, as well as take part in thematic discussions.
