Details of the festival program for the International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk have been unveiled.

This year the festival is taking place on 12-16 July, its program can be found on the official website of the fest.
“We are working on the last details. The program is even more action-packed that in 2017.
The main venue of the festival will see 19 concerts. There will also be three days when the amphitheater will host three events.
It will be open virtually 24/7, with rehearsals immediately followed by concerts,” the festival director Alexander Sidorenko said.
The line-up of entries for the children’s music contest and the semi-final of the pop song contest is complete. Each contest will see 21 participants.
A series of concerts, creative nights, recitals and theatre performances are planned to take place at the Vitebsk concert hall, the Summer Amphitheater and the Yakub Kolas National Academic Drama Theater.
Theatre lovers will be delighted to know that as 2018 Slavianski Bazaar edition offers 10 shows, with a puppetry project among them at the Lyalka theater.
The line-up includes nine performances for children and adults by theaters from Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine.
The Russian State Academic Chamber Vivaldi Orchestra, the Belarus-Russia Youth Symphony Orchestra, Georgia’s ensemble Alilo, Israeli artists, and the Three Grand Pianos Show will take place at the Vitebsk Oblast Philharmonic.
