Bracing gusty wind, black ice and -11 °C over 1,500 half-naked men ran through the city centre in Minsk on Friday, 23 February.
Run as if it’s winter and you have no shirt!
The shirtless daredevils took part in Real Men’s Run, the event marking the Fatherland Defender Day in Belarus.
Wearing only leggings, shorts or pants the participants ran along the frosty Pobediteley Avenue to a great surprise of random passers-by.
While the guys braved the freezing cold, their warmly dressed supporters met their heroes at the finish line with medals and kisses.

The runners covered 1 km or 3km distances. The winners were awarded certificates and special money prizes.
This is the second time the Belarusian Athletics Federation organise the race.
Last year there were half as much those willing to challenge Belarusian winter and own body capabilities.
