Violins And Bagpipes! Listen To Final Version Of Belarusian Entry For Eurovision 2017

NAVIBAND, the Belarusian entry at the Eurovision 2017, released the final version of their song ‘Historyja majho žyccia’ that will sound on stage in Kiev in May.

The song was recorded using real folk instruments. However, the final track was updated with musical inclusion from instruments such as violins and bagpipes, esctoday writes.

The most remarkable thing about the band and the song is that the performance is in the Belarusian language – something that has not been done for a long time!

Alongside the new arrangement NaviBand have presented the logo of the Belarusian delegation at the contest. It was drawn by hand and digitized by the Belarusian designer Maria Lis.

The logo unites the corporate style of the band and traditional Belarusian ornament, Earth and Sun. The slogan with which the Belarusian delegation will go to Kyiv is “#NaviBand from #BelarusLand”.

Belarus chose NAVI to represent them at the contest in the expanded national final on 20 January.

Eurovision fans in Belarus and other countries seemed to like the choise.
