Bikers of 15 motorcycling clubs gathered in the centre of Minsk to open a new season this weekend. And they did it in style.
The roar of motors and wind in hair!
At the Ice Palace entrance motorcycle enthusiasts were met by traffic policemen who checked the motorcyclists’ documents and the vehicle inspection.
As the clocks ticked 12pm the bikers saddled their iron horses and drove them through the sunny city for a great delight of spectators.
Besides, during the event, anyone who wanted could pass a motorcycle driving a test.
Others were entertained with various contests and a concert program.
The event is a part of the international exhibition Motoveloexpo at the Palace of Sports.
Meanwhile, Minsk prepares for the international bikers’ festival H.O.G. Spring Challenge.
It is expected to bring together bikers from Belarus, Russia, the Baltic states, and Western Europe.
Moto events are held twice a year – at the beginning and end of the season – and usually draw crowds.
