“Not so long ago we doubted if we need to hold the half marathon and how many people are ready to run it,” the organizers said. “But now it has become more than a sports event – it is a beautiful show and one of the symbols of Minsk.”

Minsk Half Marathon was first held in 2015. Over 16 thousand runners from 36 countries took part in it. The following year the number of participants exceeded 20,000 runners and the geography extended to 42 countries.
