The president of Belarus has left for China on a state visit. The visit will last till September 30.
The program of the visit includes a meeting with China’s president Xi Jinping. The sides are expected to sign about 30 international documents on cooperation in political, economic and social spheres.
Besides Xi Jinping, Alexander Lukashenko is to meet other high Chinese officials.
The Belarusian head will also visit Beijing University where he will meet with the senior personnel of the university and students, and answer their questions.
Last time Alexander Lukashenko and Xi Jinping met during the SCO summit in Uzbekistan in June this year. As for visits to China, the president of Belarus was there in September 2015 – he took part in celebrations marking 70th anniversary of WWII victory.
