IMF Mission To Arrive In Belarus On 19 September

A new IMF mission is expected to arrive in Belarus next week.

The mission headed by Peter Dohlman will be working in the country on 19 September – 1 October, the IMF Resident Representative Office in Minsk told TUT.BY.

The purpose of the visit has not been specified.

It should be recalled that the previous IMF mission paid a visit to Belarus on 21-30 June.

The Belarusian authorities are actively negotiating a new $3 billion loan with the International Monetary Fund. In exchange, the ogranization insists on drastic economic reforms.
