A tourist information center of Grodno was launched in Bialystok on 3 November, Grodno tourism offiicals told BelTA.
The center dedicated to Grodno and the region is located in the building of the Opera and Philharmonic Society in the Polish city of Bialystok.
“Here residents and visitors of Bialystok will learn all necessary information about tourist opportunities of Grodno and the surrounding area, the most interesting tourist sites, get contacts of travel companies, hotels and other facilities”, they said.
Tourists can also get information leaflets, maps and other printed products, and learn more about the rules of visa-free entry to the Augustow Canal from the workers of the centre.
As of 2 November, almost 110 foreigners booked visa-free trips to Belarus. The majority of them were from Poland and Lithuania. Grodno was also visited visa-free by citizens of France, Spain and Belgium.
