Belarusian State University (BSU) has been listed among th best research-intensive universities in Eurasia in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking.
BSU has easily made it to the top 50!
Higher institution of 16 countries were ranked by various criteria.
The Belarusian State University and the National University of Kyiv were ranked 44th and 49th, respectively.

More than a third of the 74 places in the ranking were taken by Russian universities, making it the most-represented country.
Moscow State University (MSU) has been named the best university of the continent, with two other Russian institutions following close behind.
Belarus’s neighbour is followed by Turkey with 22 institutions, and Iran with 18.
Recall that BSU made it to the top 500 best universities in the *Webometrics Ranking of World Universities (WRWU).
The WRWU ranked around 27,000 out of more than 30,000 schools worldwide.
The Belarusian university moved up 19 positions, claiming 487th place in the January0 edition of the ranking.
According to Webometrics, Belarusian State University remains the leading higher education institution in the country.
