When you get tired of taking pictures in Nemiga or posing with graffiti in Kastryčnickaja street, go on a tour around Minsk… cats.
Yes, exactly, Minsk has 14 awesome murals with funny cats and now there’s also a map of them for your convenience!
First six cats appeared in 2015. They lived on booths and fences in Partyzansky district.
In 2017 the project continued with new works by artists Mitya Pislyak, Eugene Cowek, Sasha Kontra and Masha Grapewave.
Now that there is a whole family of cats, artists have also produced a map to help you find all of them in different parts of the city.
Blue cats are the veterans from 2015, yellow ones are the new comers.
Most of them are found around the city centre (left to right): on Nezavisimosti avenue, Zacharava street, Vajskovy lane and Kazlova street.
A little further away are the cats on Frunze, Pieršamajskaja, Pulichava and Daŭhabrodskaja streets.
By the way, you can see all cats graffiti using the hashtag #minskikot in Instagram.
