Minsk Passengers Can Now Pay Trips By Bank Cards At 3 Metro Stations

Passengers can now use Visa and MasterCard contactless cards to pay trips directly at the gate of three metro stations, TUT.BY reports.

Travel with comfort!

Until today, one could use contactless bank cards to pay trips only at Plošča Lienina station at the entrance from Stolitsa shopping mall.

Fortunately for Visa and MasterCard holders, two more metro stations – Kamiennaja Horka and Plošča Yakuba Kolasa – can be entered via bank cards.

How does the system work?

To pay for a trip, a passenger needs to press a contactless card of any bank of any country to the turnstile validator panel.

The system will retrieve 65 kopecks from the card, and the gate will open.
