9 Cozy Places To Eat Breakfast And Drink Free Coffee In Minsk

Eating out breakfast in Minsk is not the most popular tradition and it’s a big loss. There are plenty of budget-friendly places that offer a variety of breakfast menus that can charge your batteries for the whole day.

Our colleagues at CityDog together with experienced foodhunter Pavel Kramar compiled a list of top places in Minsk.


The place is perfect for families, the relaxed atmosphere is great for kids, and parents love it too.

The dishes are relatively cheap and the menu is rather simple. A traditional English breakfast, delicious pancakes and sandwiches.

The pancakes are served with sour cream and blueberry sauce (5 BYN) or curd cream, nutella and chocolate (5.5 BYN).

There are also five options for the sandwiches here (6 BYN).

You will also be offered a nice bonus – a cup of coffee as a gift for breakfast.

Spoil yourself with cottage cheese pancakes (8 BYN) served with raspberry and blueberry sauce.

Or try oatmeal porridge with fried bananas and peanut butter for the same price.

The place is not luxurious but boasts a distinct atmosphere of warmth and coziness.

Mind there is no parking her, so most of the visitors come on foot.

Cottage cheese pancakes with sour cream and homemade jam (6BYN) and the buckthorn tea (5BYN)  is something you really need to try here.

But be careful if you have an allergy to natural honey – it is added to the tea.

The only minus here ­is that you should book the table beforehand, as even in the early morning there’s a chance you won’t find a free table.

The menu also offers croissants with bacon, sauce and tomatoes (6BYN) or with Norwegian salmon and parsley (8BYN).

Fans of cereals can order oatmeal porridge with milk or water (4BYN). Honey, nuts, butter, jam, fresh fruit or dried fruits can be added just for 1 BYN.

The spot boasts a huge parking space, a standard but hearty set of breakfast dishes and large windows that make it very light and cozy.

One should pay attention to the porridges (2BYN), cottage cheese pancakes and a sandwich club. The sandwich is absolutely fantastic!

The English breakfast and sunny side up eggs with salmon and avocado go for 13 BYN.

On weekends the ladies can expect a glass of sparkling wine served with their breakfast.

Men may stay their hunger with pearl barley porridge with bacon, chicken fillet, champignons and onion for 4 BYN.

A buckwheat porridge with raisins, honey and pine nuts goes for 4.5 BYN, the English breakfast – 10 BYN.

Among other advantages are a spaciuos parking place, new lovely interior and a new chef.

The cafe with a focus on local products, homemade style dishes and great service.

Basically, everything is delicious here but the prices are slightly above average.

Try lazy cottage cheese pancakes from the Russian breakfast for 13 BYN. They are served together with a pancake with meat.

The Belarusian breakfast features potato pancakes draniki with sour cream and mushrooms sauce.

Among other advantages are own parking space and smoking/non-smoking areas.

All breakfasts are served as a set for 10 to 15 BYN, the price depends on the filling.

The place is not on the list of pocket-friendly. The breakfasts are rather small, except for the surprisingly large homemade club sandwich for two persons.

It costs 26 BYN but you can order half of it, its cost will be halved respectively.

The croque madame and croque monsieur cost 9.5 and 8 BYN.

The only difference between these two ham and cheese sandwiches is a fried egg on the top.

If you like to eat tasty and ready to pay, it is one of the most pleasant places for a breakfast in Minsk.

You should try cottage cheese pancakes, a special croque madame and pancakes with salmon.

The English breakfast is costly here and goes for 23 BYN.

The croque madame with cheddar cheese, ham and eggs costs 11.5 BYN.

Pancakes with salmon – 12 BYN, cottage cheese pancakesare for 8.5 BYN.

It is a good place for those who are in a hurry. There are a few seats and no hot dishes.

For breakfast, taste croissants with butter and jam (5 BYN) or with ham and cheese (9 BYN).

The toasts with three different fillings are from 5 to 8 BYN, oatmeal and granola go for 6 BYN.

By the way, tea or coffee is already included.
