Anisia Kozliuk from Belarus got in third annual 30 Under 30 Europe list that features 300 young disruptors of entertainment, finance and technology.
They may be young, but they are ones for the ages.
The honor roll includes a record number of 34 European countries, with entrepreneurs and other activists from Belarus for the first time!
Anisia was listed along with Bobby Brown, the Emmy-nominated star of “Stranger Things”, and Maisie Williams aka Arya Stark from “Game of Thrones”.
The 21-year-old is raising the bar on teenage achievement in “Law and Politics” category as a human rights activist from the human rights center Viasna.
Having faced searches, seizures of personal property, and brief detentions and police holdings, Kozliuk is no stranger to the authorities.
Fighting for a better Belarus, she combats unlawful police practices and provides aid to victims of human rights violations, all while working to popularize the ideas of human rights in the region.
Recall that Andrew Maximov, a native of Belarus, also got in 2018 edition of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list of young and inspiring innovators.
Another Belarusian broke into the Bloomberg’s list of 50 executives, entrepreneurs, experts, and entertainers whose 2017 merits deserve recognition.
