Eat Like A Local! Belarusian Cuisine Week Starts In Minsk

A week of Belarusian cuisine has started in Minsk. One can taste a variety of national dishes at 90 restaurants and cafes on 12-18 February.

The organisers of the event compiled a list of five must-try Belarusian dishes that will make you fall in love with the national cuisine.

Moreover, the delicious treats are pocket friendly, the most expensive will cost you 9BYN (~$4.5).

What’s on the menu?

Salad “Mushroom basket”

Price: 3,7BYN (~$1.85)

A thick soup with pumpkin, poultry and mushrooms 

Price: 3,5BYN (~$1.75)

Zraza “Radziwillovskaya” with mashed potatoes and mushrooms in sour cream

Price: 8BYN (~$4)

Kvass-glazed pork ribs with potato

Price: 9BYN (~$4,5)

Lush pancakes with curd-mint cream and strawberry sauce

Price: 3.5BYN (~$1,75)

The local chefs cook the dishes using the same recipes and the dishes are sold at a fixed price.
