Alina Talay opened the new season on a good note finishing second at the 2017 IAAF World Indoor Tour meeting in Dusseldorf, BelTA reports.
The women’s race was tight. The Belarusian crossed the finish line simultaneously with Cindy Roleder of Germany in the 60m Hurdles final, so the winner was determined with the help of photo finish.
Alina Talay clocked 7.95.

“The competition with Roleder is becoming a tradition. We finished at one time, but I was second. Anyway I am happy with my start,” the athlete said.
Bronze went to German Pamela Dutkiewicz (7.99 seconds).
