Belarusian Versailles! Belarus Bolshoi Theater Festival At Nesvizh Castle On 22-24 June

The Evenings of the Bolshoi Theater at the Radziwill Castle will be held in Nesvizh from 22 to 24 June.

Admirers of classical music, opera and ballet masterpieces, you are welcome to the Belarusian Versailles!

The annual festival of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus will start with the Belarusian Romanticism concert program.

The Church of Corpus Domini is the site where one will be able to enjoy the tunes and admire the beauty of the first Baroque monument in Eastern Europe.

The concert held on 22 June will feature the works by Belarusian composers whose names have become synonymous with the Romantic era.

The courtyard of the castle will turn into a ballet scene, where the Bolshoi Theater stars will show fragments from the world ballet, adagios and dynamic pas de deux.

Saturday night will feature the atmosphere of love and sorrow.

On 23 June the opera soloists will perform vocal works from the 17th to 20th centuries at the Theater Hall of the castle.

Besides, the guests will be entertained with “The Evening of Sergei Rachmaninoff Art Songs” concert and La traviata opera.

Lovers of tango music and hot southern melodies, 24 June is your day! Visit the Theater Hall of the Nesvizh castle to listen to “Milonga with the Serenada”.

The Bolshoi Theater of Belarus launched the festival in 2010. It is an offsite musical marathon of the opera, orchestra musicians and ballet companies.

Traditionally, it spans several concert venues: the Church of Corpus Domini, Theater Hall of the Radziwill Castle and the main stage in the courtyard of the castle.
