Fifteen Belarusian athletes will compete in biathlon and cross country skiing at the XII Paralympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Many-time Paralympics and world champion Liudmila Vauchok will carry the Belarusian flag at the official opening ceremony on 9 March.
Paralympian Dmitry Loban has been named the captain of the team.
Apart from the experienced athletes, Belarus will be presented by six Paralympic debutants.
They will perform in two sport disciplines and plan to improve their results after 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi.
The first group flew to Pyeongchang this Wednesday, the second will land in Pyeongchang County on 2 March.
An international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities is scheduled to be held rom 9 to 18 March.
Сompetitions will be held in six sports, with 80 medal events in total:
- Alpine skiing
- Ice sledge hockey
- Wheelchair curling
The Belarusian athletes will compete with 685 sportsmen and sportswomen from 47 teams.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the Games will be held at the same stadium which hosted the 23rd Winter Olympic Games.
Recall that Belarus won two gold and one silver medals to place 15th in the Pyeongchang Olympic Games medal count this year.
