In November the President of Belarus instructed the Government to return the average wage to $500 in 2017 on condition of the corresponding growth of labor productivity. Later, the Minister of Economy Vladimir Zinovsky claimed that the salary of $500 is “an extremely difficult task”. However, the program of socio-economic development for 2017-2020 does not mention $500.
