DoubleTree by Hilton, one of Hilton’s 13 market-leading brands, opened its new hotel in Belarus within the Galleria Minsk, a premier shopping and entertainment complex in the heart of the city, on 14 December.
The new hotel features 193 guest rooms and suítes and marks the brand’s debut in Belarus.
The hotel’s facilities include Ballroom Grand Galleria, that can accomodate up to 300 people, three meeting rooms, a modern business centre and a 24-hour, fully-equipped gym, a lobby bar Beans&Leaves and Ember restaurant offering an intimate, relaxed atmosphere where guests can sample traditional Belarusian food as well as European cuisine.
Probably, one of the most remarkable attractions of the hotel is sky bar BarDotXX1, located on the 21st floor. Elegant and sleek, the bar serves cocktails, international wines, champagnes, spirits and a range of Thai and Singaporean dishes. Its guests can admire stunning panoramic views of the river and city, BarDotXX1 being the highest bar in Minsk.
The rooms of the hotel have no fixed prices – the fees will depend on the season, bonuses and discounts and the market.
“Since the hotel is aimed at business travelers, we tried to book a standard room for 9 January, the first working Monday after the New Year holidays in Russia”, TUT.BY wrote. “One night would cost us $150 in a normal room, an $165 in a room the view of the river”.
Hilton expects to reach the annual average load of 60% after three years.
