Free Wi-Fi zones will appear at railways stations of 19 largest cities of Belarus.
The joint project was announced by mobile operator MTS and the Belarusian Railways.
Free connection will be available in the waiting halls of the railway stations in the regional centres: Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk, Mogilev and Vitebsk.
Internet hotspots will also be installed in Baranavichy, Borisov, Bobruisk, Kalinkovichi, Krichev, Lida, Luninets, Molodechno, Orsha, Osipovichi, Pinsk, Polotsk, and Zhlobin.
The service will be available to subscribers of any mobile operator after authorization with the help of a password sent via sms.
The project will be launched by summer 2017, MTS said. The concrete date of its start hasn’t been announced.
